Best fusion splicer: core and clad alignment compared
Short answer: decide core vs clad alignment first. For backbone, OSP and high-volume work, a core-alignment splicer is the usual choice: the Fujikura 90S+ if you want the deepest used and rental market, the Sumitomo T-72C+ where it's sold locally, or the INNO View 7 ($5,800–$7,500 new in the US) on a budget. For drops and enterprise work, a clad-alignment unit like the Sumitomo T-400S ($3,206–$4,706) or Fujikura 41S+ ($3,527.50–$4,900) costs much less.
